Hi loves! If you know me, I'm super obsessed with Korean skin care and Korean beauty. I am also super into Korean dramas and Kpop ever since 7th grade. I can understand some Korean but still learning on my own through watching so many dramas and Korean TV shows. I am always on the look out for more Korean skin care or makeup to try because they really work well with my skin. So, I was so excited to be part of Julep's Preen.MeVIP program and try out some of their Korean skin care products. I filmed an unboxing of the package today and will be uploading that video this week. I will put the direct link here once the video is up on my channel which is

Before I get into talking about what I received in the package, I just wanted to let you all know that their K-beauty skincare trio (Detoxifying Cleansing Stick, Reparative Rosehip Seed Facial Oil, and Invisible Sunscreen Gel) are available for a limited time from January 10, 2017 - January 30, 2017. You can purchase them at all US Ulta stores. So, if you want to try them, make sure to get it before the 30th of this month.

The first thing that I got and saw in my package was the Konjac Sponge, which I have always wanted to try for awhile. I heard a lot of great things about this sponge, so I was really excited to have one now. You can use this sponge with the detoxifying cleansing stick or any of your cleanser.

All of the other items was packaged in this authentic Bojegi, which is a Korean wrapping cloth. In it was:
1. Love Your Bare Face Detoxifying Cleansing Stick - $28
My first impression of this product was that it is the perfect traveling size and that it is a stick. I won't have to worry about bringing this with me on future trips where I go on flights because it's not liquid. I have never tried a cleansing stick before so this is very interesting to try. This product has natural oils that both deep clean and soothe your skin. It has rice bran oil that helps with impurities, pomegranate fruit enzyme, and Rosehip & Camellia seed oils that soothe and hydrates your skin. You can use the Konjac sponge with this product if you have one.

2. Boost Your Radiance Reparative Rosehip Seed Facial Oil - $36
Rosehip is one of the key ingredient in this skin care that is a powerful antioxidant that helps soothes and repairs your skin to the fullest. Rosehip Seed Oil reduces the appearance of fine lines, scars, and hyperpigmentation when it regulates the skin's oil production. This product also has vitamin E that protects against dehydration and free radical damages.

3. No Excuses  Invisible Sunscreen Gel Broad Spectrum SPF 40 - $28
This product is a sunscreen that is transparent and fast-absorbing. It says it has SPF 40, so it's perfect to use on hot sunny days to protect your skin from UVA/UVB rays. This product has Rosehip Seed Oil as well that soothes and repairs, Melon Extract that softens and brightens, Camellia Seed Oil that helps moisturizes and stimulates collagen production, and antioxidant Jeju Island Love Plant which is supposed to protect your skin from environmental damage. It says that the sources are directly from South Korea's Jeju Island.

These main three skin care products work together to help cleanse, nourish, and protect your skin to keep your skin looking as flawless and healthy as much as possible. The products are perfect sizes. They do not take up a whole lot of your bathroom counter space or wherever you place your skin care products at.

My opinions
I tried the products several times now. I really love these three products. I love all three of them because they are very easy to use and they are the perfect size. They might look small to some people, but there is actually a lot of product in the bottle. You definitely do not need a whole lot of product when you are using them. A little  can go a long way especially if you are the only one using the products. The first time I tried the Detoxifying Cleansing Stick, I felt like I put too much on the face. I lightly rubbed the cleansing stick onto my face. It feels very light weight when you first apply it onto the face, so I ended up putting a little more than I needed. But overall, it helps my face look more refreshed.

I loved how the Reparative Rosehip Seed Facial Oil has a lemon type of smell. It is not super strong. It has a light scent which is I like. I like the packaging of the products. It is simple but very nice to look at and use. You can use it under a moisturizer but I have been using it on it's own right after the cleansing stick.

I haven't been using the invisible sunscreen gel that much yet. It has been raining for weeks in San Francisco and there is not much of the sun here. But I do like using this anyways to help the foundation go on smoothly. I like to either use a foundation primer or sunscreen before apply my foundation and the full makeup. This sunscreen does not have any smell to it, so it is perfect for people who is sensitive to smell.

The last thing I received in this package was a DIY Kimchi Kit. I thought this was awesome because I love kimchi and Korean food in general. I craved for Korean food once I saw this Kimchi Kit in the box. I can't wait to make my own kimchi with sauce ingredient it gave me in the jar. I just have to get the vegetables.

I am thankful for being able to be part of Julepmaven's Preen.MeVIP program. I really do enjoy these products and will be using these nonstop. I want to get more since I know I will be using them a lot and my  cousin (she's like a sister to me) usually uses a lot of my products. We share each other's stuff a lot. We will want more.

Thank you for reading and supporting me! <3

Happy Sunday! The morning started amazing. We had tea time at Crown and Crumpets at Japantown with my girls I've known since high school days. It was a really great relaxing and fun hang out day. If you're from San Francisco or visiting San Francisco, I highly suggest you visit Crown and Crumpets one of the days. It if perfect if you want to feel fancy, enjoy some bomb tasting tea and food, and just a great bonding event with your friends/family. I wore a nice blue lacing romper and felt pretty fancy while eating and drinking tea. I changed into something more comfortable to wear throughout the rest of the day. It was quite windy, so wearing a warm jacket/coat with this simple outfit would be best.
I wore a simple white mock neck shirt, black cargo shorts, black sneakers, a cap, red sunglasses, and a chain fanny pack.

Hello everyone! I hope  everyone had a great day! I love the fall season and I'm so excited for more fun holidays coming up soon! Some days feels like summer still here in San Francisco, but it is okay. Once the sun goes down, you will need layers of clothes on. Does anyone know what you'll be for Halloween this year? I'm thinking maybe a iced match latte Starbucks drink as my costume.

Congrats to one of my favorite youtubers, Jenn Im from Clothes Encounters for launching her own clothing brand called Eggie! Eggie ( 애기 ) means "baby" in Korean.  I got her oversized Eggie long sleeves tee in white. I was super excited when she announced her own clothing brand. I knew I had to get something from her line. I absolutely love all her pieces especially this oversized Eggie long sleeves tee. I ordered myself a medium and I am 5'5" for references. I have been loving tees that has super long sleeves, so this tee definitely caught my eyes. I paired this Eggie shir…

Summer days are coming but you can't go wrong with an all black outfit. This mesh top is good to wear on sunny days because it is still breathable and I've been loving these pants that can be unbuttoned to give your legs some fresh air if the day gets too hot. It is stylish and super comfortable to wear. Keep in mind, if most of the buttons are unbuttoned, wear black underwear or shorts underneath just to be safe.
